Ingredients
  • 1/2 - 3/4 bag of potatoes 
  • 1 (32 oz) carton chicken stock
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream (optional)

Toppings

  • 1 package thick-cut bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • shredded Cheddar cheese
  • green onions
  • sour cream
Directions
  1. Add the potatoes, onions, chicken broth, salt and pepper to the slow cooker.
  2. Set it to low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
  3. Add heavy cream at the end if desired
